Sketch N Stash Challenge No 83

Hello bloggers.  Before I show you my new card for the latest challenge at Sketch N Stash, I'd just like to say how wonderful you all are - I've been terrible at personal bloghopping lately (lots of family things that are taking up my time) and yet, so many lovely people still stop by and leave me regular comments and I can't tell you how much they brighten my day! So thank you all, very much!!

Onto our new challenge at Sketch N Stash and we have a wonderful sketch designed by our lovely Michelle - I really loved the design, something a little different.
And here's my card using a Maggie that I bought several months ago. Love her dressed as a nurse although she looks a little menacing with that syringe!!

The oldest thing in my stash though is the ribbon and some of the papers (red gingham) - don't have any idea who they're by as they were from my bits and pieces drawers!  The sentiment is Lili of the Valley though and was perfect as the card is for my niece, Jo, who has just been offered an unconditional place (of which there were only 20 out of 300 applicants, I might add) to study nursing at University.  She's already studied hard to become a dental nurse and has now decided to take it to the next level.  So it was her birthday card and congratulations rolled into one!

The other bits and pieces are from my stash. Just remembered that some of the papers are from the new Portabello Road range from Papermania!!

For this challenge we're being sponsored by The Card Grotto, our very own Michelle!

with the following as a fab prize for the lucky winner.

Dovecraft Back To Basics III Paper Pad & Ribbon

The SNS ladies and gent (our Kevin!) have made some gorgeous cards to inspire you, so check them out here
I shall look forward to seeing your lovely creations with the sketch! Don't forget to tell us what is old and new stash in your card!

Hi Julie. This is lovely, what great colours you have used. I've been a bad blogger lately, me ebay has taken over atm, though managed to colour a few images ready to go!

This little Tilda looks lovely in her nursing uniform. Love your red white and blue theme and your floral sentiment, Julie. Still wish I'd bought those Portabello road papers! Hugs, Lesley
