Tuesday is PFP day - Gingham!!

Grrrrrhhh!!!!  So cross with Mr Blogger - just had my post all done and then it published without any text!!!
Back today with a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers, but first I wanted to thank you for all your lovely Yellow Ribbon entries for my challenge last week - check out the challenge blog later to see who I finally managed to choose for my top 5.
This week we're being sponsored by the DigiStamp Boutique who are offering 6 of their fabbie digi images to the lucky winner.
Some of us were able to pick an image to use this week and I went with this great little DIY man!  It's a card for my nephew who has just moved into his own flat so thought it would be appropriate!  The theme this week is Gingham as chosen by our very talented Lisa.
I've used Papermania Gingham papers with a touch of Tim Holtz thrown in! The key and lock I think are Quickutz dies, a bit of dynamo tape sentiment and I was done- and I'm trying to beat Mr Blogger before he throws me out again, and I have to leave to catch my train in 4 minutes!!!  Just what you need first thing in the morning!!
Don't forget to pop by the challenge blog to check out the fab makes by my lovely teamies and I'm off to get my train!!  Bad, bad Blogger!!!

Housework Fairy!!!

So love this housework fairy from Mo's Digital Pencil - wouldn't she be fab to have around doing your dusting!! I've coloured her with my Promarkers, and now that I've got some of the new ultra fine tips, you can really do some of that fine detail work so easily!
I've used Prima Moulin Rouge and Melody papers, along with Webster's ribbon trim - the pink loopy one, both from Crafty Emma's store, along with the flowers.  Emma also has the Ultra fine Nibs in stock so grab them if you need them!!
I've used the new sketch over at Sketch Saturday ( I have flipped it), so entering into that challenge.
Off to have a catch up now!!

We have a recipe at CES for you at this week as chosen by our lovely and very talented Jenny:
1 image, 2 ribbons, lace or twine and 3 design papers
- my kind of recipe!!

Luckily at Basic Grey Challenges our theme is Doileys and Ribbon so I was able to combine the two! For my card I've used the Hello Luscious Basic Grey papers (yummy) - three different ones, Webster's Trim (lush) both from Emma's store along with my 6x6 card base and Tim Holtz ticket. I also used a bit of the Webster's ribbon to make a rosette flower with the antique brad in the middle.  The other two flowers I made with the Spellbinders Rose Creation set. And of course, my one image is a fabby Simply Sassy!!
I've followed the fab sketch over at The Sugar Bowl, which also has a theme of Make Your Own Flowers, so I'm entering my card into that challenge.

Tie a Yellow Ribbon at Passion for Promarkers

Yayy - it's my turn to set the theme at PFP this week and I've chosen Tie a Yellow Ribbon!!  I don't use a lot of yellow in my cards but when we were picking themes, this song was running through my head for some reason!!  So thought it might be a good theme - any colour, any style as long as your card has a yellow ribbon on it and you use your Promarkers or Aquamarkers.
This wasn't the card I had in mind to make actually but I just LOVE this new paper doll, Trudy, from Mo Manning - and she offered it as a freebie through her Facebook or Papercraft Planet groups!!  I also couldn't resist two new retro sets of papers - Modern Homemaker from October Afternoon and Emma's Shoppe from Crate Paper - they are just divine and they go fabulously with this Mo image.  As you can see I paperpieced her dress by printing it out onto three different papers - it's actually a little big but I quite like the look as that's how I remember my paper dolls looking!!

And I know this is very embarrassing for poor Trudy but just had to show you a peek under her skirt as she has the cutest little underwear set on!  (I should have taken a piccie of her before I dressed her.)

I hung the two spare dresses over the mini hanger  and added this cute little die cut dress up image from the Crate Paper set!!  I have the required yellow ribbon in the corner and also the patterned ribbon at the back is recycled from some chocolate packaging!

Do hope you like my challenge and that you will be able to join in!  I shall be round to visit and ooh and ahh!!  As always we have a great prize from a fab sponsor, and this week it's Joanna Sheen who's offering a £10 voucher to spend in her on-line store!

My fab teamies at Passion for Promarkers have done me proud with their cards so hope you manage to hop over there for a looksee!!
I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Stamps&Fun=Creativity - Red and Yellow
StampsRUs-There was a little Girl

While posting, I thought I'd show you another Mo Manning image, Two Jill, one of my all time favourites which can be found here!

This was a just because I felt like colouring make!!!
Managed to get round to a few blogs last night, so many awesome makes, so little time!!!

Sketch N Stash No. 65

Morning bloggers - well where did that weekend go - not managed to do much blogging at all!!  I will try and catch up with you all soon - I'm sure I've missed some fab makes!!
Onto our new challenge at Sketch N Stash and this fortnight's sketch has been designed by our very lovely Faye.
As (nearly) always I've rotated it - can't quite remember the reasons why now!  Loved using it though, Faye.  More toadstools from me, this time using this new stamp from Lili of the Valley - what a little cutie pie.  So that's the new item and the stash that has been lurking more than 6 months  is this fab Cosmo Cricket set - gorgeous papers, frames, die cuts and embellies!
I popped the image slightly out of the frame for a bit of depth and then used a few co-ordinating flowers from Crafty Emma's.  The little metals corners are so dinky and are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Hope you can join in with us over the next fortnight.  We have a great prize for you this week , a $15 voucher to spend with our regular sponsor, Simon Says Stamps - yummy!!

My lovely teamies at SNS have got some stunners to share with you, so hope you can pop on over to the challenge blog to take a look see.
Have a great Monday!

If you go into the Woods today - what would you see?

Lots of Woodland Creatures I hope, as this is our next challenge at CES Challenges as chosen by our lovely Shell!
I've used this gorgeous little Tilda with her Bunny image and then masked her up and stamped the additional little rabbit peering out from behind her.  This was from a Prima set that matches the Prima Jack and Jill papers.  I had intended to use the Jack and Jill papers too but the Prima Botanicals pad had the colours I wanted.
I made the roses with the Spellbinder Rose Creation die set - I LOVE THIS!!  You're probably going to see a lot more of this from me, although it takes a little while to construct.  I used some plain cream papers, inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and then set about layering up with lots of glue!
I also followed the sketch over at Crafting Life's Pieces but missed the deadline!!!
The Prima papers, Cat's Life Press Sentiment, Ribbon, Promarkers and 6x6 card base can all be found in Crafty Emma's Online store.
Emma has some fab new goodies in the pipeline, lush papers and stamps, especially, and if you  pre-order you could get 20% off your goodies, just for being a little bit patient!!!!
You could also win a £10 voucher to spend at Emma's if you join in with our Woodland challenge this week!!  And if you need any inspiration, nip on over to the challenge blog to check out all the fabulous makes by the lovely ladies on the DT.

Colour Create Time of the Week

The week is racing towards the weekend, only two days to go! Thursday already, which means it's Colour Create day with our inspirational picture chosen for you by our lovely Sharon with a T!  Gorgeous fuschias aren't they!
30 Jun - Challenge 74 - Sharon T
So our colours are Fuschia, Green and White and this week we have the optional extra of making your own flowers.
I've gone with this super little Kraftin Kimmie Fairy and coloured her with my Promarkers, primarily - Fuschia!!
I fancied her skipping across a woodland glade over the toadstools and flowers and have cut her out with an oval nestie die but just keeping her foot and wing tip outside of the cutting area.  I started colouring her at matey Lesley's on Saturday, and we had quite an in depth discussion as to what colours my toadstools could be as fuschia wasn't very lifelike!! Lesley did then point out that I was using a fairy so perhaps the lifelike argument wasn't really relevant!!
The toadstool is from Whiff of Joy and the flower is a Little Claire Designs stamp - one of those that I bought years ago, have never used, wondered why I bought it.....until now!! The perspective of the daisy was perfect for my little lifelike skipping fairy!!
Papers are My Mind's Eye Lime Twist, Happy Go Lucky, purchased from Crafty Emma's here.  My hand made flowers were made with a Marianne Creatable die with a little gem popped in the middle.
I used my Ink Duster brushes and Broken China Distress Ink for the background clouds.
The sentiment came with the stamp  and with a  final sprinkle of Stickle on her wings I was done.  Hope you like and hope you'll find some time to join in with us this week!
Grab your fairy wings and skip on over to the challenge blog, here  to see all the awesome cards made by my lovely CC teamies!!

Passion for Promarkers - Week 106 - Babies - Ahhhhh!

Hiya - was it hot it enough for you yesterday!!  Goodness what a scorcher!  I was so hot on the train coming home and then in the evening, had to turn my lap top off early as it was overheating too!
Anyhoo, this is my card for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and it's Babies as chosen by our very own yummy mummy to be, Emma!!
I've chosen this wonderfully sweet, image from Mo's Digital Pencil, Baby Fairy Flora and layered her up with First Edition Spring Feast Papers bought from Crafty Emma's Store as were the little pink flowers.
The card is for a cousin of my OH, who has just had a little girl, who they've named Amelia - congratulations Spencer and Nicky!!

This week, we're being sponsored by In2Stamps and you could win two stamps from their gorgeous selection,

Looking forward to seeing lots of gorgeous baby cards this week!  Have fun!
