Uptown Girl coming up roses

I bought this little lady from Stampin Bella - Charlie has a Pressie - from Quixotic Paperie last week.  Love the Uptown Girl images but they're not cheap so I took advantage of the 20% discount that Elaine was offering last week and bought a couple!  And they arrive the next day - great service!
I've coloured her with my Promarkers and some Shin Han Touch Brush Markers which I love!  Like Copics but much cheaper (from Jacksons's Art Supplies here in the UK). The  papers are My Mind's Eye, the border die was cut with a Martha Stewart punch and the rest of my embellies were from stash. Oh, and the sentiment is from Stampin Up.
The card is for one of my wonderful M&S girlfriends (we all met when we started out at M&S head office over 30 years ago).  Love them all dearly - we've all been through at lot together over the years, and we still meet up for every couple of months to put the world to rights (haven't quite succeeded yet but we'll get there!)xxxxx

I'm entering my card into the following challenges

4 Crafty Chicks - Use flowers
Red Rubber Inspirationals - Celebrate Friendship
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Distress
The Crafty Bloggers Network - Ribbon and Pink

  3. Whoo Julie!
An absolutely gorgeous card, right up my street.
I have to admit I'm a little in love with these stamps but as I so seldom use rubber I don't know whether I can justify the cost (but I'm tempted) watch this space!
