CAS at Basic Grey Challenges (I can't do CAS!)

We have a new challenge for you today over at Basic Grey Challenges - Clean and Simple.  Trouble is, I really struggle with this style which I love and admire in the more capable hands of so many other crafters out there.  I've looked at my teamies' cards for this fortnight's challenge and have ooed and aahed at them ( see them here) but mine just looks ......well, boring!! May be it's because I needed to make a male card, which may be a lethal combo for me with CAS!!

Anyhow, on with the deets - my Basic Grey papers are Little Black Dress, and Basics Kraft.  The image is from a  new Papermania set of different eras and makes of cars, very useful for those (boring) male cards!!  The flags were cut with a Sizzix die that I bought from Ally Pally back in April (bargain bucket price of £2!)- I cut it using Core card and then sanded off to reveal the white.  The Way to Go sentiment is from a little American Crafts stamp set cut with a Dienamics die to which I've then added the  doodled border. 

And that's my CAS card!!
