Card for my daughter Emily who will be Sweet 16!!


Can't believe it but my baby is 16 tomorrow!!  She had some friends round on Saturday night for a bonfire, fireworks, pizza and a film - she has a really great group of friends, and a lovely boyfriend, so I can't say sweet 16 and never been kissed!!
Love this Tokyo girl image which is a digi stamp from DewDrop Craftz. Coloured her with my PMs and added a bit of bling with these gorgeous swirls which I got as part of a Secret Santa with the fabbie Colour Create girlies.  I didn't think I could bear to use them but then I thought if I can't use them on my daughter's card, I'd never be able to use them!!
 The sentiment frame is from My Paper World and the sentiment is from a Crafty Secrets set, Cupcakes - I cut the Sweetie word down just so I could say Sweet 16!  Finally a view, from the side to show the easel shape a bit more. 
We're having a chinese takeway tomorrow night for Em's actual birthday  - perhaps it should be Japanese seeing as she's Tokyo girl!!!

    I've been very naughty & rather a long time visiting you to thank you for my 'OMG it's gorgeous' Christmas card. I was planning to send you something by way of a thank you, but I have not decided what to send & therefore not gotten round to making it yet. But I will!! Seriously, I was stunned by how fabulous it is with all the amazing detail. I hope you had a wonderful festive season. This card too is fab, your colouring is terrific. Having had the pleasure of meeting you, I can honestly say, you don't look old enough to have a 16yr old daughter, let alone her be your baby! Hope she had a fantastic birthday. I'm not going to leave it so long before visiting again. Then I won't ned to write an essay each time, LOL! Hope you're keeping well.
