New Sketch at Sketch N Stash

Wasn't it a fabulous weekend , so much sunshine. Sadly, its now Monday and so back to work for me today but first here's my card for the new challenge at Sketch N Stash.  Not really happy with this at all - I decided to merge three of Mo's Digital Pencil images for a new home card and this is the result. I love the images separately- Kansas, Tall Houses and Witch of the West and the recipient loves the Wizard of Oz so hopefully she will still like my New Home Card for her.   To me it looks bitty as there's no one focal point on the card and I've had to distort the sketch in the end andso  my image panel is too big!! Still, hopefully, you can see the sketch is there.
Lots of punching on this one including a punch round the page set from Martha Stewart, and a tree and flower border die from Memory box.  My papers are from K & CO which I have had for a long time, while the fabric roses are newer from The Hobby House.  The sentiment is Cat's Life Press,
This fortnight's challenge is being sponsored by My Mum's Craft Shop ( I love that name!) and you could win a fab £10 voucher to spend in the store.

The SNS team have made some wonderful cards to inspire you further if you'd like to check them out here.  Don't forget, when playing along to tell us what's your new and what's your neglected stash items in your make!  Have fun!

Julie, I think this is stunning and just perfect for a Wizard of Oz fan, you're far too critical sweetheart!
I love the colour combo and all your punches too.

Smart girlies are always their own worst critics. And you are a smart girly. But you are sooooooo wrong in this case. Your card is fabulous!!! The merging of the images is spot on! You have created a wonderful scene from Oz with all of the most important elements. You've coloured those elements beautifully and they are perfectly spaced with the wicked witch slightly off the page. It's stunning, Julie! Perfectly lovely embellishment with your tree and flower border and vintage flowers and the sentiment is wonderful for a new home card. I love it! And if I ever move home I want one just like it! Hugs, Lesley
