Tropical and fruity at Colour Create

Here I am again with my card for our latest challenge at Colour Create!   And it's another foodie theme of Tropical Fruits!  A bit healthier than last week's theme of chocolate, strawberries and cream!!  You made some yummy cards for us to see though - don't forget to check back on the challenge blog to see the winner!
Here's the picture for this week's inspiration:
24 February - Challenge 64 - Sharon - YOUR CHOICE OF THREE fruit colours (done before but was fun)
You need to pick three of the colours shown as your starting point and, optionally, include some fruit somewhere on your make!!  Very healthy!!

Our sponsor this week is High Hopes stamps

and you could win this fabbie selection of cute stamps from them - what a great prize!:

Back to my card for the challenge and I have picked out the colours of Apple, Watermelon and Coconut!
I'm trying to use some of my stamps that I've had a while but have neglected ( for neglected read never used!).  This  Red Riding Hood from the Moonlight Whispers range from Krafting Kimmie is one such little beauty- how could I have ignore her for so long, no wonder she looks a little sad!!

The apple and sentiment is from another one of the fairytale KK images, I think the Snow White queen which would make sense.  My papers are a mix of Basic Grey and Papermania (the gingham).  The heart doiley is from Crafty Emma's as are some of the flowers and Baker's Twine.  The little apples on the tag are made with one of those punches that you never quite know if you are ever going to use but are too much of a bargain to leave in the shop!!
This is just a close up to show the glossy accents on the apple which doesn't really show in my main pics.

Well that's it from me for now, so sorry that I've not been commenting too much recently ( as me, if you know what I mean!).  Life has a habit of intruding some times!!  Take care and see you soon!!  Loadsa love,

Little Red Riding Hood certainly does have a sad expression. She has clearly been worried she would never see ink! And thank goodness she has! Lovely card, Julie! fab shiny apple and I love the little rafia trim on the corner. Love Lesley

Oh Julie, this is absolutely gorgeous! WOW! I love the shine on the apple and the flowers are gorgeous! Love the great papers too! Little Red Riding Hood looks so sweet...gorgeous colouring! I know how you feel about "neglecting" your stamps! I think we all do that....we have to have them and then don't use them.... at least that is what I tend to do...but it feels good when we finally get around to inkin' them up, doesn't it?! Have a fab weekend, hun!
