Basic Grey photo inspiration

Evening, how's everyone feeling about returning to work tomorrow, if you have to? - Me, ugghhh!!  Just been put into perspective though, I've just heard that my friend's 17 year old son was in a hit and run and had to be airlifted to hospital!!!  Sending all my prayers and love to them - think he's going to be ok but it's going to be a long haul.

This is my card for the Basic Grey challenge no 19 which is a wonderful photo of a child's room:

I mainly used the colours in the photo as my inspiration, but also thought the streamer on the end of the boy's plane mirrored the bunting in the picture. Also had to use something Basic Grey of course, but a lot of my papers were too girly or the wrong colours. However, I've used some of the Boxer papers as matting and  for the little propellers ( well, I thought they looked like the propeller on the plane!)  I've also used some Coredination paper, sanded back after embossing with the Argyle CB folder.  I don't know the make of the red paper, but it matches the Shaker, shabby chic feel of the room.
Finally, the image is coloured with Promarkers, with  Stormy Sky Distress Ink on the edges. Oh and of course, this wonderful little guy and his pal, is a Penny Black cling image, which I 'borrowed' from my fabby friend, Alex, when we had a play date recently!!  I've not put a sentiment on it yet but may well use it for my Dad on Father's Day as he has recently built a very similar model plane!!
