Here I Am!

Hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  My feet have hardly touched the ground in recent weeks, talk about hectic!  However, everyone seemed happy with their pressies and we had a wonderful Christmas here.  Just been to see Avatar this afternoon - quite amazing!  I now have some time to blog and show you the last of my Christmas cards which I hadn't put up before!

This first one is from House Mouse, coloured with Promarkers and using Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses Paper.

These two are made using a lovely freebie image from Inger - these are so gorgeous and to think Inger has given them to us - wow!  Again I've used the Eskimo Kisses paper.  Another freebie below from the fab selection by Mo Manning - just wonderful!!  And I used this great pine leaf border punch from Martha Stewart!

A gorgeous Kraftin Kimmie image here, promarkers and K and Co Winter Wonderland papers - you can't really see it here but the papers are really luxurious and embossed-still have plenty left for next year!
And finally, these soooo cute images from Whiff of Joy which are so lovely to use!

Well that's it for now, want to have a wander round to catch up with all your lovely blogs.  Be back soon!

Woe is me!

Morning lovely bloggers!  Hope you're all feeling better than me today - I have the most stinking cold, so don't come too close!!  Took the day off work yesterday but can't today as it's our busy week ( I work in payroll) so going to struggle in ( this said in my best martyr tones with my hand against my forehead!! Lol!).
At least I was able to make a couple more Christmas cards for the total - up to 83/120 now!! And here they be:

These are made with the delightful Antoinette from Kraftin Kimmie, another fav for Christmas this year. I've watercoloured her with Distress Inks and layered her up onto a mixture of MME and K&Co winter/christmas papers.  The little skate charms I've had for ages and thought they were made for this image.  The colours weren't quite right though, so coloured the tops and the little star with my promarkers to match the papers.  The big bow on the first one was tied with the fabby Bow Easy which I bought at Quixotic Paperie.  Speaking of which, I'm entering these cards onto their blog this week as they are asking for us to use charms.

Well, off to finish getting ready for work, enjoy yours whatever you're doing!!  Take care and thanks for stopping by!

Sharing a few recent makes

Hi everyone, no challenges from me tonight - I've been busy making Christmas cards in batch lots so thought I'd share them along with a few others that I haven't gotten round to uploading before!!

This is one of a few made using these delightful Whiff of Joy Uru/Wee stamps - I can't tell you how much I love them!  Eskimo Kisses Basic Grey papers, cut out the frame with nesties and the rest from stash.

These are two Miss Santa cards (from Sugar Nellie).   I've had them coloured up for ages  but have only just manage to get round to making the cards.  I'm also loving this Twinklets glitter  which I've used on her furry collars etc- it's so chunky and gives a really retro feel to the card!!

This was a really quick card using this fabulous Penny Black Image - I basically stamped it using a few different Distress Inks and then added some stickles.  The DT paper is MME Glittered Christmas mounted onto Kraft card blanks - seemples!!

This last card was one I made at Alex's house last week, using some of her fab array of stash, including the Stampin Up vase and the sentiment.  The swirly background is a  Cling Stamp from Hero Arts.  Obviously not a Christmas card, but a sympathy card for a work colleague of hubby's.

Phew, that's it for now then!  Made 70 Christmas cards now - another 50 to go!!!

Three for one!!

Well, I've managed to combine three challenges with this little lady.  I love the new Christmas Tildas and this is one of my favourites, Tilda with Vintage Roses!  Which is rather apt, as over on Passion for Promarkers, challenge 27 they're asking for a vintage style.

The challenge on a A Spoonful of Sugar this week gives you the choice of using either pink or blue with the base colour, brown, so I've gone with pink. And finally, I've used this great sketch from Sketch Saturday, no 78.

The papers are from My Minds Eye Laundry line, Nestie die cuts, Leonie Em punch for the leaves and rest from stash! Need I mention that I used Promarkers!!

Pink and Sparkly - Sassy Sue Challenge No 2

I've had this Sugar Nellie Manga Fairy coloured up for ages but have just got round to making this card and it fits the challenge over on Sassy Sue's new challenge blog perfectly!  The white glittered background paper is wrapping paper and I've also cut the snowflakes from this paper.  Of course she has a glittery wand and wings and there's some stickles round the sentiment for more sparkle!

Whiff of Joy Colour Create Challenge 32

Happy Sunday evening all!!  I had the most fabulous day yesterday with two of my most favourite crafty people - Lesley and Alex.  Firstly, we went to the Glitter Pot which was of course, brilliant!!! (Duh!)  Then back to Alex's (how lucky is she to live about 15 minutes away!).  Then we spent the afternoon crafting and chatting in Alex's lovely new card room.  I was so happy that these gorgeous Whiff of Joy stamps arrived on Friday - I  love them so much and thought this was perfect for the challenge over on Colour Create which was to use the colours green, red and white inspired by this candy cane picture.

I finally succumbed to the Eskimo Kisses pad from Basic Grey so I used those together with the snow flake and tag embellishments from K & Co.  Oh and Promarkers!! ( Don't look too closely - I've just noticed  where I've gone outside the lines!)

Quixotic and Kraftin Kimmie challenges

Evening all!!

Half way through the week and only two more work days - yippee!!  This card is for two challenges this week.  First one is over on Kraftin Kimmie where they want circles.  So I cut the card shape out using my largest scalloped Nestie but not quite the whole circle so you still get the fold in the card.  A couple more circles for the DPs, also the flowers are round as is the card candy in the centres!!  Spots on the ribbons and a round spotty brad on the tag!!  Think that's enough circles!!

For the challenge on Quixotic Paperie this week, it's to use Kraft card and red - mmmm!!  Lovely combo!!

Coloured with Promarkers and a little Copic Spica glitter on the hat.

Mo's Digital No 6/Xmas card No 41.

So glad that I got round to using this image again, along with many others, this is one of my favs from Mo's wonderful creations.  I used the sketch for this week too over on Mo's Challenge blog.

Very simple with regard to papers but I have coloured her rather brightly so didn't want to overwhelm it!!  Tried a new way of colouring with a combo of prisma pencils and promarkers and I do like the rather vintagy feel this adds.

Flourishes are from Quickutz and glittered up, and used my Holly CB embossing folder to make the Holly leaves as I didn't have a holly stamp big enough!  Had my eldest daughter, Holly, in  mind when making this card as she loves purple and told me she loves her namesake!  Used Copic Spicas again for the glitter and shine!

House Mouse Christmas!!!

Yayyyyy, I've made some bulk Christmas cards!!!  Image is such a cutie from House Mouse and thought it would make an ideal little quick "batch" card as I have so many to make - I'm now at no 40 out of 120!!!

They really are dinky little cards - isn't that a great word, dinky!!!  I used this week's sketch from the Sketch Saturday challenge blog, {no 77} which I'm sure was posted with me in mind for this little image!!!

Coloured with promarkers, glittered with Stickles and Copic Spica pens and that's about all I can tell you!

Twilight Mania!!

Aren't these images from The Greeting Farm just fab!!!  They're a take on the Twilight films which we're mad about in my family!  Sadly they were limited availability as digital downloads over the weekend so don't think they will be available again. The beauty of digi stamps is that you can size to fit which I did with the image of "Bella" in his dream bubble. I had such fun making this card for my sister's birthday in a couple of weeks who thinks she is THE Mrs Cullen!! Wasn't going to enter any challenges but can't not support the first challenge over on Quixotic Paperie which was to make a birthday card, nice and simple.  I also used the sketch from Truly Scrumptious which  had to include three brads, three flowers and three pearls or gems.  Papers I used are from DCWV - All Dressed Up, brads from Dove Craft and pearls from Quixotic.  (And promarkers!!!!!!)

You can't really see it here but "Edward's" skin is all glittery which, as of course any Twilight fan will know, it goes glittery in the sunlight!  Used my Spica pens for this - not my idea at all but I can't remember whose fab idea this was -sorry!
